Under 10's Match Report
Cimla travelled to play Brynamman on a cold saturday morning their pitch having survived the frost. Cimla had a few players missing and coach Carsley shuffled the team to begin the game with James williams playing up front with Alexander Greenslade reverting to right wing and Josh Hutchinson starting in defence for the injured Daniel Smith.

The game kicked off with James carsley and Adam bray tackling well in midfield. The Cimla play was now being played through Alexander Greenslade on the right wing who after collecting the ball ran down the wing beating two defenders and played a lovely through ball to James Carsley who shot only to see the keeper stick out his left leg and turn the ball out for a corner. From the resulting corner the cimla were unlucky not to take the lead with the solid Dylan Jones connecting well with his head to sent the ball just passed the post.

The home side were trying to play football but were not getting much joy out of the cimla team and Alexander Greenslade was now terrorizing their defence at every opportunity and another through pass to James Carsley who shot and was once again denied by the keeper and then a ball over the top of the defence by Adam Bray for Alexander to run on goal only to be denied by a last gasp tackle as he shot on goal.

The second half kicked much in the same way with attacks from cimla and solid defending from the home side. Cimla finally got the breakthrough when pass forward from dylan was seizied upon by Alexander who shot but the keeper just managed to keep it out with the ball falling to Adam who fired home to make it 1 nil.

The game looked to be over but in the final minute a shot from the edge of the area just beat Craig Ransom in goals to make 1-1 as the ref blew his whistle to end the game.

Well done to all the boys from defence to attack and to Craig in goals who this week caught the ball well. Also could somebody remind Mark smith to bring his hat to the games as the boys don't like to see the Assistant coach crying from the cold.
