Under 10's Match Report
Cimla Rovers started the game strongly from the off and it looked like it was going to be a good day, they seemed to be dominating all areas of the pitch. Despite the dominance, Glyneath were putting up stiff resistance and the goals were not materialising from numerous chances created. The home team goalie looked on fine form and the defence seemed to clear anything he did miss off the line. The deadlock was finally broken when Aaron Lupton forced his way through a couple of tackles and fired a sweet shot that eluded the keeper for 1-0. This was closely followed by Callum Preece continuing his remarkable scoring record since Christmas to end the first half 2-0 up. Glyneath refused to throw the towel in and got themselves back in the game with 2 of their own just after half-time, the game was now up for grabs as it became completely open with chances at either end. It was Cimla that finally gained control, Callum getting a second after good play by the whole team and the game was wrapped up by man of the match Sam Davies, he launched into one of his trademark runs from defence, carved through the opposition like a hot knife through butter and drove the ball home to kill off the opposition. On reflection of the whole match Cimla probably deserved the win, but it could easily of slipped away.

Final Score : Glyneath 2 Cimla 4 Scorers: Aaron Lupton, Callum Preece (2), Sam Davies
