Cwmamman United (0) v Cimla United (6)
Callum Preece 3, Ben Stevens, Nathan Lazda, Sam Davies
Cimla rovers quickly got into their stride away to Cwmaman as Callum Preece finished from close range within the first 3 minutes. There were surprisingly no signs of rustiness from the Cimla boys, considering they have not played a game since 24th of November. They were solid in defence, competitive in midfield and man of the match Nathan Lazda dazzled the opposition at times with quick feet and pinpoint passes. Some of the play between Nathan and Aarron Lupton in particular was a pleasure to watch, as quick 1 - 2 passes bamboozled the opposition, resulting in goal scoring chances. The main beneficiary of this was Callum Preece, as he pounced like a hungry Leopard to get 2 goals in the first half and complete his hat trick straight after the break. Callum then swapped with the frozen Ben Stevens in goal and he too got onto the score sheet after he had warmed up a bit. Nathan was desperate to get his name on the list and became a little too selfish at times, choosing to take defender's on when a pass would have been a better option. He finally got his reward as he latched onto a clearance by the Cimla defence and had a run at goal with no-one to beat except the keeper, he didn't disappoint with the finish. The scoring was finally completed when Sam Davies broke down the left at pace and stuck the ball into the bottom corner of the net. Cimla continued to press up to the final whistle but had no more goals from their endeavours, they can be very satisfied with this excellent win.
