Girls under 13's Match Report
Cimla 1 Bishopston 0

The girls continued their recent good form with their third win from the last four matches when they faced Bishopston at Cefn Saeson. Although we dominated possession in the first half we did not create too many good chances and were almost caught on the break by a determined Bishopston team. However Kayhlan Norgrove made some good saves in the Cimla goal. Two minutes before the half-time whistle with it starting to look like we would reach the interval all square Chelsey Harris produced an excellent long range effort which the Bishopston keeper was unable to stop. This gave us a 1-0 half time lead which our possession had merited.

After the break we continued to dominate particularly in midfield where Sophia Rees, Charlotte Smith stood out but were unable to extend our lead. At the other end Bishopston were unable to create any open chances mainly due to them finding it difficult to get past the strong tackling of Chelsey Harris and Georgioa Davies. Five minutes from time it looked as though we would double our lead when Holly Jarvis produced an excellent run, using her pace to beat the Bishopston defenders but her shot shaved the outside of the post so the score remained at 1-0.

This was another excellent result which sees the Cimla team now starting to move up the table, but we are faced with some difficult games over the next few weeks.
