Under 12's, Onllwyn v Cimla
The game started at a frantic pace on a beautiful pitch with Cimla setting the pace, Callum Lupton and Josh Phillips dominating the middle of the park.
There were early chances for Alex Sly and Tom Simms but Cimla couldn't capatilise on some brilliant approach play. Ten minutes into the game saw a fantastic break down the Cimla right by Nathan Michael, he flashed a great cross across goal only for Tom Simms to slide in at the far post just to push the ball wide of the upright. Cimla were very much on top but had to keep on their toes at the back with Chris Payne and Sam Jones giving nothing away being well marshalled by keeper Sam Thomas.
Cimla thought it was going to be one of those days as they squandered chance after chance in front of goal, but then Callum made a good run from midfield to be found with a great ball from Alex Sly, he pushed the ball past the keeper and rounded off a good move with a goal Cimla well deserved first half ended 1-0
Second half started much the same with Josh and Callum cutting the defence apart with some delightful football. Ashleigh Langdon made good ground down the left to put a great cross in for Tom Simms to finish off .The third was another good move with Josh bringing the ball forward beating his opposite number and sliding a glorious ball through for Rhys John to finish brilliantly from the edge of the area.
Number four wasn't far away with Ashleigh beating two players down the left cutting inside and firing in an unstoppable shot into the far corner to finish off a fine individual goal.the fifth was another fine move with Josh and Callum linking well again, Callum played the ball square to Josh who carried it forward and found Callum with a great through ball, he shot at goal and the keeper got his hand to it but it was to powerful to keep out, rounding off a man of the match performance by Callum final score Onllwyn 0 Cimla 5 to round off a superb performance to keep Cimla in second place.
