CIMLA (0) V Gowerton (1)

K: Jake Jenkins/Rhys Phillips

D: Aaron Walters/Jack Forsyth

D: Joe Burns

M: Connor Thomas

M: Rhys Phillips/Jake Jenkins

M: Owen Evans

S: Will Brown

A tough match started brightly for Cimla with some good early pressure witch resulted in Owen skillfully flicking the ball over his own head, turning and performing a lob on the volley that went just wide. Next Will put a lovely through to Owen that he shot from and a very good Gowerton keeper saved. The remainder of the first half was all Gowerton pressure with the having numerous chances and corner kicks, but Jake in goals and our defence held out well.Cimla started brightly again in the second half with Owen having another good shot saved and Will breaking clear and shooting inches wide. Then after a lovely piece of control Gowerton broke Free and thier midfielder shot from distance into the bottom corner for the deciding goal of the game. Cimla fought back with a late surge with Will seeing a shot saved and Owen shooting across the face of goal but it was all in vain.

CIMLA (0) v Llangafelach (2)

K: Zac Brown

D: Jack Forsyth

D: Callum Jones

M: Callum Williamson

M: Rhys Clarke

M: Rhys Phillips

S: Ethan Rowlands

Some nice passing from Rhys Phillips saw Cimla playing well but failing to break down a tough Llangafelach defence. Zac did an excellent job in goals with the Swansea side edging a tough tackling but largeley uneventful first half. In the second half the game sparked into life with good early pressure from Cimla with Callum Wills hitting a hard shot from outside the box which thier keeper saved well. Llangafelach then pressured us with Callum Jones brilliantly dealing with a 3 on 1 situation, but from the resulting corner there was a defensive mix up which saw Cimla score an own goal that Zac could do nothing about. Jack was cool under pressure and passing well until bad luck hit us again and they scored again from a wayward goal kick. Clarky did well in the build up to another shot for Callum Wills which sailed wide. Today was not going to be our day!

CIMLA (0) V Clydach (0)

K: Owen Evans/ Will Brown

D: Zac Brown

D: Jack Forsyth

M: Callum Williamson

M: Joe Burns

M: Connor Thomas/Ethan Rowlands

S: Rhys Clarke

Clydach started this game the brightest with them having a chance well saved early on, Cimla were still half asleep at this point Clarky then woke everyone up with a cracking shot from a tight angle which struck the post. The remainder of the half was uneventful with Clydach shooting just wide on the stroke of half time. Clydach had all the play early in the second half, camping in the cimla half and being unlucky not to score then Ethan missed a glorious chance infront of an open goal, then did well to sidefoot an awkward bouncing Burnsie cross and was very unlucky to see his effort bouncing off the crossbar.

CIMLA (3) v Landore (1)

K: Joe Burns/Aaron Walters

D: Aaron Walters/Joe Burns

D: Connor Thomas

M: Rhys Phillips

M: Jake Jenkins

M: Owen Evans

S: Will Brown

Cimla finally came to life in the final game of the day, playing the kind of football they are capable of and putting in an excellent team performance. Will looked sharp early on by hitting the side netting before Owen broke the deadlock and scored the first Cimla goal of the day! Cimla finished off the half with some more good positive play. We again started the second half brightly with Will again shooting wide and a goalmouth scramble saw Jake sliding in for his first goal of the season and then Cimla scored an excellent team goal with Joe Burns collecting Aaron's kick out, passing to Connor who passed to Rhys Phillips, who put Owen clean through on goal to finish off an excellent passing move. Landore then scored a consolation goal which didn't take the shine off a good all round Cimla performance.
