A good performance from the girls saw us finish our league campaign with a comfortable 8-0 win against Rhos at Cwrt Herbert. At first we found it very difficult to break down the determined Rhos team. However after 16 minutes we took the lead when Lowri Ridings played in Sophie Amor who finished well for 1-0. Once we got our first goal we were able to play with more freedom and Four minutes later it was 2 when Lowri again played in Sophie. Two minutes later Sophie completed her hat-trick following a cross from Katy Hosford on the right which she finished well. In the final 5 minutes of the half Sophie added 2 further goals to give a half time score of 5-0 all scored by Sophie to take her seasons tally to an impressive 38 goals.

Five minutes into the second half we scored our sixth when Kathleen Bell fed Sophie who played it to Lowri to finish well. Ten minutes later Lowri fed Beth Hall on the edge of the area and Beth lobbed the Rhos keeper for a great finish to make it 7 and after 20 minutes of the half we added our eighth and final goal when Lowri fed Kath who placed her shot well for her first goal of the season.

The victory ensured we finished as runners up in the league to go with our runners up in the cup. Overall a very good season which still allows us some improvement for next season when we hope to put some silverware in the trophy cabinet.
