What is it?

Cimla AFC is the new name for Cimla Youth AFC. The Cimla 500 Club is a fundraising scheme to raise money for the football club. Members of the scheme subscribe on a monthly basis and the winners are decided by a quarterly prize draw.

Who benefits?

All players benefit from money raised through fundraising. The money is used to subsidise Club activities including the cost of training facilities and permits for pitches. Money is also used to develop skills of managers and coaches to improve the quality of training offered by the Club. The Club is a non-profit making organisation and is reliant on fundraising activities to keep Club Membership fees as low as possible - and even seek to reduce them.

What are the prizes?

Approximately half the money raised through the scheme is paid out in prize money. Prize winners are chosen every quarter and last year the scheme paid out nearly £1000. The size of the prizes are determined by the number of members in the Cimla 500 Club, so the more members there are, the BIGGER the prizes.

How much does it cost?

The cost of membership of the scheme is only £2.00 per month paid by standing order. That works out at less than 50p per week with the chance of winning a large cash prize every three to four months.

Simply complete the standing order mandate on the back of the Cimla 500 leaflet and post to the Treasurer of the Club at the address provided.
